Writing

As we discussed today, children can practice reading and writing their letters and key words in a variety of ways:

• Chunky chalks on the pavement/patio outside
• Felt tip pens on an old roll of wallpaper
• Paintbrushes and buckets of water (outside!)
• Painting - small scale and big scale
• Magnetic letters on the fridge
• Letters in the bath
• DS pictochat (you can send messages to each other)
• Squeezy bottles with water to make the letter shapes/words on the floor (again outdoor!)
• Gel pens
• Bingo dabbers
